Notorious Roots Reggae collective, Nucleus Roots have been playing live gigs, recording & releasing quality Roots music for the best part of the last Eighteen years. Paul Lush, Simon Dan, Moses, Trevor Roots & Ossie Gad. Nucleus Roots’ music has been supported, endorsed & championed by the likes of UK leading Sound Systems Jah Shaka, Aba-Shant-I & Iration Steppers to name a few. Spawning out of the ashes of Manchester’s legendary punky-reggae group Community Charge,
General Skank are an 8 piece reggae band hailing from London Town. Armed with a mashup of styles from roots to rocksteady and dub to dancehall they are the next soldiers in the reggae revival army and will take you on a skanking journey that will get you moovin’ and groovin’ to the rhythm inna London style.

Drum and Bass pioneer. This man has been pushing the DnB sound since the early 90’s at raves and radio stations accross the world. He has his own label Creative Source where he has pushed forward some of the highest quality DnB sounds. On the night you will hear Fabio playing Jungle & DnB just how we like it. DSSS have been releasing some quality dub music & taking their own self built fat sound sysem and performances to Outlook Festival since 2011 where they cause some serious rumbles on the beach. Smuggling in London expect some high energy vibes and dubplates with special guest MC.

SubJect 13 AKA Mr Left eye
David Stewartt has been making Drum & Bass since the early 90’s releasing tunes on labels such as Creative Source, Dread Recordings, Mix & Blen, Basement Records as well as running his own label Vibez Recordings. 2008 Dave started a new project as
Mr Left Eye and new label called Pauze Recordings, submerging sounds of electronica in a leftfield style. Playing a mixtue of both elements expect pure magic.
Originally going under the name of Dasha playing Dubstep, he started his own label Headlock nearly 6 years ago. Jamie is one of the original DubTastic crew. Bringing us dubstep, dancehall & bass driven music, his new style and killer mixing skills willl make everyone boggle and shake it. .radio show every Sunday 10pm -1am Bang Radio.

Roger Nell has been a big inspiration to the DubTastic Family with his passion to play the very best tunes whatever the genre. He runs For The Funk Of It
Sunny plays a wicked selection of Dub and reggae he has so much good energy and creativity expect to see him and his artwork around the place.

Then we warm down from passing clouds and return the day after to Cafe Cairo in Clapham North for our monthly session of roots reggae steppas and ska.
